OUR SCHOOL
Community Academy of Media & Arts is made up of artists, musicians, teachers and volunteers with a passion of not just serving the community but specifically serving the inner city youth. Too often we see our inner city youth faced with limitations on their dreams and what could be. They are forced to deal with their current reality not understanding their true potential and all that they can be. In our community, only 21% of high schoolers finish their studies at a community college and only 18%reach a 4 year degree at a university.
Our mission is to provide technical and creative growth opportunities for the inner city youth of our community by providing high quality courses in the creative arts including multimedia, arts, music and more.
We seek to make a positive impact in the youth of our community by providing a resource to dream and believe in a better future with endless opportunities.
We seek to accomplish this by rooting our mission in our core values.
